Southport Weekender 42

Since the November session SP 41 was sold out quicker than quick we do not dare to miss the 42. Deposit now already payed for SP 42, 9-11 May 2008. Killer track

The guy behind one of my all time favourite tune "It's yours" is definitely back. And what a killer mix he's done. Picked it up at the post office today. Some brand new vinyl once in a while always keeps you in good mood.

Kappvändar-krädden har ångest

Minimal är så gott som dödsute, Baile Funken nja...Grime - ha ha inte en chans! Techno är alltid pålitligt, Detroit är Detroit liksom. Discon likaså, stabil som Kungsklippan. Men definitivt inte nytt direkt.

Inget nytt sound att hoppa på - stackars Krädden har åååååångest.

I hjärnan på en Kräddare en regnig torsdag kväll i September 2007:
- Faan asså, vad i helvete finns det inget nytt retro sound - Trance kanske?
- Äh, skit också det har "The Field" redan kört sin version på. Hmm...
- Yacht rock? Näe det där med rock går inte hur mycket jag än skulle vilja prova.
- Kan det inte bli 2010 snart så man kan vara först med köra 2-step revival. Kanske smyga in den redan hösten 2009. Perfa, säger det inte till någon.
- åååh. Fuck. Filter House från typ 98 da. Nej nu vet jag en Destinys Child revival får det bli. Där satt den - yes!

This (fake!?) advertise is pretty funny. I went to an exhibition at Moderna Museet in Stockholm a couple years ago showing old advertisements for Pharmaceutical substances. This is how advertisements in the 50's and 60's actually could look like. The message of your substances "excellence" was nothing you tried to hide. No restrictions on how to convince the patients.

Miguel Migs

Yeah I know yet another skyline. What else should you illustrate house music with - forests!?

Anyway, San Fransisco's Miguel Migs is doing the next forthcoming Coast 2 Coast CD. It shall be interesting to see what he's up to nowadays. Rumours says that his recent set at China, Stockholm was a bit "techy"!?

Boat party

Only because I right now really really would like to go to NYC. And to hear DT play 'deep soulful house' on Hudson river would be great. Hasn't his sound otherwise been pretty hard lately?

But I just noticed the date. Anyway the flyer certainly looks good in my blog.

Glenn Underground

Rumours says that my friends at Soulmates London have booked Chicago legend Glenn Underground for their November session. I think I have to negotiate and explain the importance of some days in London...
